Luna Carwinkle is a beautiful, talented 17-year-old girl. The only problem with her is that she doesn't speak. It's not a mental deficiency -- she chose not to speak when she turned 9 years old. Her parents are top of the social ladder, and people begin talking negatively of the Carwinkles. Ashamed of their daughter, and afraid of not being popular, they send her away -- to Bridgeton High Boarding School, three hours away from home. What will Luna have to endure at this popular, social-based school, and how will she get by?
