Chapter 1 - Starting over

17 year old Zoe Harte has lived in London her entire life together with her mom. Her dad left before she was even born so she had never met him. As December and christmas is coming her life turns upside down when her mom is in a car accident and dies. Zoe now has to move to her uncle Joby in LA and say goodbye to her old life. Dealing with the loss of her mom in a time that should be filled with joy isn't easy. But when the broken Zoe meets Ricky Garcia, from the boy band that her uncle Joby is manager for, things starts to light up for her. Will he mend her heart and make the her holiday as happy as it should be?
