Prologue

Before she'd even been conceived her mother had made a deal with the gods. Grant her wisdom, beauty, magical healing power, fertility and prowess in battle and her mother would do whatever they wished of her for the rest of her life. Now with her reaching maturity she must use those powers to heal her husband so that he can put sons and daughters in her womb. She must give him sons so that the Vikings will rule forever and their direct line will stay in power
