Prologue

In the early 1200s, many witches roamed the land. One of these necromancers was a young lady named Anya. She fell deeply in-love with Thomas, a mortal boy. They had planned to marry each other on the day she turned eighteen. One day she went to the market to fetch some bread, when she saw her lover conversing with a maiden. She flew into a jealous rage and hexed the poor man, she said, "I trusted the, now every time you turn eighteen, the shall be born again only to remember your shameful past. The only way to break this retched curse is for the bloodline of mine to kill you on the anniversary of our wedding that will never come." Little did Anya know her youngest descendant would befriend the young boy.
