Prologue

I didn't think my life could get worse after my mom left, turning my father into one hell of an alcoholic.
I was wrong. Dead wrong. Simply cause of two species...
Creatures who looked human, who thirsted blood from whoever they damn well pleased.
Vampires.
Then there were creatures who could change their very form of being human, who hungered for flesh.
Werewolves.
It was only a matter of time till I would either end up dead, or one of them. How long could a girl like me be able to live within this... Shadow world?
They brought me into this.
There's no turning back now.
Which species will I run towards? Unless, of course, one claims me before the other...
