Judacus Montenegro waited most of his life just to get out of the system. Now twenty-three years old he finally has his life going the way he wants it. He has been graduated from college a year and is just starting out as a high school history teacher. One night after a day of nothing but mouthy teenagers and low test scores, Jude finds a shivering homeless boy in an alleyway. Shocked and concerned for the gorgeous boy's safety he takes him in without a second thought but what if he made a mistake in taking in someone he doesn't even know? Haylen is homeless. Ever since he was thirteen when he ran away after his step-father beat him nearly dead he always found himself on the streets. He has been able to make it so far but on the one of the coldest nights in Los Angeles He takes shelter in an alleyway to try and stay hidden from the harsh wind. Hayler soon finds out that deciding to hide in the alleyway was one of the best decisions he made in his life because that is where he met the person who changed his whole life for the better. That's where he met Jude.
