Aliya Sommers is the daughter of John Gilbert and Jenna Sommers.

She goes by Sommers because she never knew John as her father, infact she hardly knew John at all. She knew her mother hated him, and for that she disliked him also.

Being the doppelgangers half sister, Aliya was pretty well known in Mystic Falls, and to say she was liked by people would be an understatement.

But just like everyone, Aliya has her own demons. So she can't help be drawn to the enemy. But there's also someone on the 'Save Elena Squad' who caught her eye.
