Description
Thesis: Malak has always doubted herself. She believes that her hijab has been the main subject of her bullying. Her life becomes even worse when she looks into a mirror, because with on look, she is pulled into a different reality, and into another individual's body. Now she will have to cope with the changes in her life and family. General Thesis: Malak struggles adjusting to her family especially at her school where basically everyone associates with some sort of clique. She is a second-generation American-coming from a family of Yemeni descent. But she chooses not to disclose any information of her personal identity. She would rather paint until she, herself, is covered in paint. But the many aspects in life that she encounters only leaves her covered in sorrow.
