Chap. 1: Saturday Morning

Minerva was a normal girl, no one really expected much from her. She had fairly good grades, a small group of friends, a small suburban home. Nothing too flashy.

One night she' s pulled to a party by her dad and brother, saying its a very important event. All she seemed to notice are her snarky cousins and snoopy aunts. That when he comes in.

Looking like a model fresh from a photo-shoot, a crisp black tux hugging his muscles and made his silver eyes pop. He had a certain pull to him, an irresistible pull. The way he smelled, pine and cinnamon, allured her soul and made goose flesh rise upon her neck.

It seemed like the whole world stopped, and in the science of their duo, only one thing was heard.

"Mate."
