Why? Why didn't I listen to my parents when they told me I shouldn't have gone to that party?

" I left the party around eleven, but decided to walk because everyone would most likely be drunk and I didn't wanna put my self in a situation like that. As I was walking I heard footsteps behind me, and when I turned around no one was there. I began to walk faster as the footsteps began to also speed up. Next thing I know I'm on the ground with someone standing over me with a cloth. Then I blacked out."
