Wade knew he had a child. Of course He loved him, that's why he had stayed away from him and his mother. He stopped by often enough to know who his son was, to love him. to try and build something of a relationship. By protecting him He had only ended up not being there when they needed him. Vanessa had been killed, and Wade had only found a bloodied mass that he had assumed was what was left of his child.
