I watched her carry her large textbooks to her car and drive off, having no recollection of her neighbor watching her, everyday at exactly 8pm. I awaited for her return, I dreaded seeing her go. I wanted her all to myself. She was my little girl. Only mine. No one else's. The year she started college, she began wearing darker colored clothing, she stopped smiling, I would catch her sniffling before exiting her car and meeting her parents whenever she came to see them. She began ignoring her friends, she stopped going to the library, and at times she would sit in the car for hours just staring at the steering wheel. What was she doing?
