Chapter 1

Charlotte Williams moved to Alexandria with her dad after her mom died. She's always had a hard time making new friends so she's terrified to be the new kid. She usually spends her days reading, doing homework, just trying to stay busy.

Aiden James usually spends his days skipping school, drinking alcohol, and smoking cigarettes. Not to mention he has to watch after his younger sister.

When Aiden sees Charlotte and her dad moving into the house next door, he expects her to be one of those annoying girls that follow him around everywhere. But he slowly realizes she's the exact opposite and finds himself following her around.
