Ironically Deaf

In this world, there are so many languages. French, German, Spanish, whatever. And they are all beautiful. So I've been told. But I can't hear a thing. I've never heard the water splash, or the clock tick. I don't know what my own voice sounds like.

But I know this band. Well, not personally. And I have these two friends, Mike and Saskia, who are both totally obsessed with them. My other friend, May, isn't, though. She's kind of just there, you know?

Anyway, Mike and Sas are trying to turn me into their obsessed ways and they want me to meet them. Whatever, it's never going to happen. We can all dream, though?

It's ironic, really. Wanting to meet a boy band when I can't hear.
