"She's from the Kalomoon pack." The oracle whispered in her trance state, opening her eyes and looking at me, the candlelight dancing in her eyes.

"I'm so sorry Alpha Chase."

The words hit me like a ton of bricks.

Everyone knows the happenings of the Kalomoon was a tragedy, a scar in Werewolf history, ambushed by Rogues and Hunters there were no survivors. I knew now why I couldn't find my mate, why it was taking her so long.

She was already long dead

Or so I thought.
