Prologue

Aiden Walker is anything but ordinary. His heart does not beat. He has wings blacker than the night. He has been through foster home after foster home. The only thing he has left is himself. Will that be enough?

Aiden is caught between two worlds: ours and his. He has fallen down to Earth because he has lost the trust of the ones that it really counts for. Now he has to go through with gaining that trust back from the rest of his kind and everybody around him.

There will be a war. There will be consequences. What side is Aiden truly on? Will he ever get back to his natural state?
