Laura Cotter has had quite the rough life. From her father being a drug addict and a women beater. He eventually beat Laura's mother to death.
Laura is then forced to live in Manhattan with her Auntie Carren who she becomes very close with. Laura is quite a social outcast and she only has one true friend who she tells everything to. Until, there's a new boy who she instantly falls in love with. He made her feel whole again, like nothing could ever hurt her again.
But, then, something drastic happens that could never be fixed.
