Prologue

They all swear that Alexii is sick. Some think it’s Liam; others simply believe that her mind is simply ill from past circumstance. But everyone agrees--Alexii isn’t the same person after they discover Liam Bardston’s personal hiding place for Alexii.
At first, that place was a cold basement, dark and cruel. But then, Liam discovered more and more of the reasoning behind his need to have her--and the place becomes his own heart.
