When I perform, I get really nervous. No matter how many times I've been on the stage, my heart never stops beating wildly.

I have been to numerous places where I perform with either my piano or violin. I had gone onstage even when I don't want to. I had walked up the stairs and made my way to the middle of the platform, even if the nervousness I was feeling was eating me alive.

Why don't I just run away? Why am I trying so hard to stand there when I feel uncomfortable? Why wouldn't I want to quit instead?
