A shy 17-year-old, Cathryn Spade, has always had a love for romance books. She fantasises her first kiss and daydreams about meeting the perfect boy. But she's always been too shy and worries that she'll only ever just end up embarrassing herself, so she hides.

Meet Luke Spaulding, the new kid. He moves to the new school hoping to be able to move on from the shattering accident. Trying not to be the bad boy he used to be, he seeks to find someone he can lean on.
