Bittersweet Memories

I can still feel his touch lingering, just by my side. But it's never enough, and I'm left alone every night. I feel his breath on my neck, but when I turn he's never there. His soft hands caress my cheeks as I fall asleep, but when I open my eyes I am met with darkness.
I can feel him holding me, but it's impossible.
