Lexi Morrison is a twenty-three year old girl living a normal, post-college life in Chicago, Illinois. That is, until a surprising emergency brings a man named Thomas into her life. Together, they discover the truth of her murky heritage and before long, Lexi finds herself among a race of people called the Angelikes on an earth named Unum. When a forgotten deity demands Lexi undertake a quest to save the Angelikes, she is forced to agree. With only an "admittedly cute" prince, a soldier with attitude problems, and her own instincts to guide her, will Lexi be able to make it out unscathed?
