At the beginning of the school year in 1993 there was a storm. In that storm was a castle. In that castle were students. Among those students were Lee Jordan and Fred and George Weasley. A simple game of I Dare You ultimately leads to something far more menacing, life-threatening: the Unbreakable Vow. In 1993 mass murderer Sirius Black escaped Azkaban prison, supposedly intending to murder Harry Potter. Beth Black didn't know this, neither did anybody else, but word that he had escaped still got around what with the Daily Prophet and whispers of a man to be the first to escape. She was the target of all jokes, avoided, and glared and sneered at.
