Chapter 1

The ancient Greeks believed in the idea of soul mates. The once complete beings were split down the middle, creating two halves of a whole. From then on, the halves spent their life time in search for their other part.

Markers are similar to this idea of the Greeks in that they spend their lives searching for their other half. Markers, though, are easier to find; all you have to do is right on the back of your hand.
