Chapter One: Stopping Time

William Leery has lost his wife with the arrival of the Zombie Apocalypse. Frozen in place, clutching his children by his side, he's rescued from a herd of diseased by a blonde haired, blue eyed woman in an overpriced SUV. Together, Will and Peyton (accompanied by Will's children and a few new friends) make their way to Washington from Texas, but not without a few bumps along the way.
