Elizabeth Mitchell had a normal life, where nothing major happens; that is, until she came across a dead body.

With threats and many attempts on her life, Elizabeth has to watch her back at all times. She wasn't sure why someone wanted to kill her, just as she wasn't sure about the attraction she had for the sexy Officer Derrick.

Officer Derrick McCauley is a man that tries to do his best at everything. Now someone wanted Elizabeth dead and he wanted to find out who and why before it was too late. He had to do this while trying to protect her at all cost. And he swore to protect her.

However, while protecting Elizabeth, would he be able to protect his heart as well?
