For NaNoWriMo 2016:

Illa's life is hard enough, being the illegitimate daughter of the sworn-to-celibacy Sun Priestess. But when her mother is gruesomely murdered by members of a religious cult known as the Eclipse, it only gets harder. Her mother apparently carried a powerful ability through her bloodline, which is the only method to awaken the long-slumbering Sun God and bring either calamity or salvation to the human race.

Eclipse will stop at nothing to get to that power, and now they've set their sights on Illa.
