What if Kota didn't stop Sang from running that first night?

This is just a work of my imagination inspired by the works and characters or author C.L. Stone. I do not own the characters or rights to the story.

That being said, the first few paragraphs WILL be straight from C.L. Stone's book Introductions, chapter one, titled "Max". This will be a "what if...?" story branching off of the original beginning so everything starts the same, right up until Max was supposed to run up and knock her down.
