The law is clear: Every princess aspiring to ascend the throne of Zartania must journey to a strange neighboring world : Planet Earth. Remain there for twenty-eight days. In that time, she must find friends and resources, and make a living for herself. Should she fail, she will lose the throne forever. The time has come for Della Surcize, Princess of Zartania, to make the journey and claim her destiny. But Earth is indeed a forbidding place, and Della will need more than luck if she's ever to rule the world.
