Author's Notes

The third installment to The Untold Story Of A Beta. It has been almost a year since Lucy moved to the small town of Beacon Hills, but things have hardly gone quiet. The seemingly innocent place is crawling with supernatural creatures bent on destroying one another. Caught in the mix and without her humanity, Lucy should be glad she's finally free, free from the shackles that have held her down since she was bitten. But that's not the case. Things seem to be more out of control then ever with battle lines drawn and Lucy's decision to leave her friends and family behind haunting her everyday. She's struggling more than ever to deny the fact that there's still a small part of her old self left underneath the wolf, a part that want's nothing more than to go back to Derek and his pack. But as time runs out, murders start to escalate and with a unknown killer on the loose, for the first time ever Lucy finds herself hopelessly defeated. She will soon realize the greatest obstacle she will have to overcome in order to stay alive is not learning how to control her own instincts, but gaining back the trust she so carelessly threw away. If only she had of known the bite was going to cost her so much more than her life.
