Prologue

I always thought I knew everything about myself and the life I lived.

It's easy to assume so.

With my doting mother, my amazing friends, and my know-it-all self, I thought I had it all.

I thought I knew it all.

I was so wrong.

I never knew that after that day, my life would never be the same. That I could never call my life semi normal.

Lies and deceit is what brought me here.

And I would have never guessed in a million years that I would never again get to live the life of sweet, know-it-all Adelaide McMane.
