Derek Morgan is a man of action. He kicks down doors and lock bad guys away. When he first saw her at the gas station, he's alpha male personality was instantly attracted to how small and fragile she was. She needed someone to protect her from all the evil in this world and Derek Morgan stared in the face of evil daily. It was part of his job description.
