Thrushkit is a new and eager kit of ThunderClan. He may be a runt, but he is determined to be the best warrior he can be. That is, until his brother, Eaglekit, is swept up into a prophecy. No one cares about Thrushkit. Why should they? It's his brother who is destined to save the forest.

Thrushkit is lost in his despair, unnoticed and unappreciated. Only when he begins to dream of a place where stars don't even dare shine, and mysterious cats slink in the shadows do the whispers of power and appreciation reach him.
