Character List and Refresher

The 2016-2017 season is about to begin! The Tampa Bay Lightning are enjoying having survived a rough offseason, where the only two casualties to the cap were: Valtteri Filppula the pass-first-not-shoot guy and Jonathan Marchessault.
Things are going smoothly and everything is a little too calm.
The calmness is shattered however, the day before the Bolts' opening night, when Vladdy cannot find Yzerchuk, his magical stick.
The team jumps to conclusions, but suddenly they find their old rival's dead body in the center of Thunder Alley and Vladdy begins to question what is going on.
However how can they, when the only clues the Bolts have are a dead body, a stuffed Gorilla and picture/note about Yzerchuk...?
