Lucy has been abused for as long as she can remember. Her father is alcoholic. Everyone bullies her at school. So when she is assigned to work with the most popular boy in school on a History assignment. Lucy isn't sure how to feel. She closes up even to his persistence in getting to know her. Will he break through her wall and be her first friend or will Lucy fall into the empty void?
