Part 1: The Empyrean

I didn't remember who I was or where I'd been when I woke on that shallow boat. Eventually I discovered that I wasn't lost and I hadn't been kidnapped. I was dead.

But this afterlife wasn't what I expected. The Empyrean wasn't heaven, the Netherlamds weren't hell, and my only hope was to make it to the Temple of Kore where the Queen of the Dead waited.
