Synopsis

*****Chrissie James isn't ready for love, nor does she want it. She’s had too many run-ins with love, and all of the men that like to break her heart. Safe to say Chrissie had sworn off marriage and men. They were just no good for her.
*****That was until she met, search and rescue volunteer, Derek Wellington. He made her feel like an attractive woman. Something that she hadn't felt in so long, but Derek had his scars too. His weren't relationships like Chrissie’s. Derek’s were from his past as a dorky teenager. The past that he’d spent his life trying to overcome.
*****Can they heal their scars together? Or are two people so different from one another bound for doom?
