As a child, Alexander was always rejected, by his parents, family/relatives and even villagers! By such a reason you may think absurd. His eyes. "What an unusual color", people would say. "Cursed, he's cursed," they would whisper.
But what if he's not cursed? What if they held magical power? Power that couldn't be described into words..
Too bad Alexander didn't know this. Therefore he couldn't use it to against other people. People who had hurt him before.
He left the safety of his home, the only true place he knew, and exposed himself to the outer world.
A world that's not all fun and games, nothing to be taken as a joke...
