Preface

Evelyn Ternys has lived her entire life in the College of Mages, informally nicknamed the Spire: a sanctuary - and prison - for those with magical gifts. There she discovers a forbidden spell called Veil Magic, and begins to practice in secret. However, there is danger lurking closer to Evelyn than she realizes, and she will need to master her new gift before its too late.
