"Because I don't want to scare you," his voice came out as soft as a cold breeze that passed by.

"But you are scaring me now," he took a few deep inhales and exhaled to reply.

"I know," automatically, his warm hand reached my cold face while he strolled his fingers before wiping my tears all so gently and leisurely.

We both stayed the same for a long period. None saying a word. Breaking the silence and finding the courage, I spoke: "You are a monster."

He lightly smiled at that. "I know," his fingers slightly ceased before continuing to play with the wet lock of my hair.
