Chapter One- Afternoons

Hunter Rowland. Golden boy. The guy every man wanted to be. Good in school, sports, and has character.

Nevaeh Simons. Intelligent, but doesn't show it. Not considered unpopular, but not in the 'incrowd' if you get what I'm saying. She used to be a star basketball player and track captain, but not anymore. Not after the incident.

Those incidents changed her life forever. School work becomes harder, she can't think straight, she gets nightmares, she lost all her friends, and her brilliant sea green eyes that once shined of happiness which lightened up a persons day, are now dull and lifeless. When she starts speaking to her schools golden boy, she starts to act herself again, well. Sort of. But she is fluent in French and sarcasm.
