East Boston High School's head football coach, Jane Rizzoli, had it all. A winning program and a college coaching offers from Washington, Alabama, and Ohio State.

When her senior running back, Eric Davenport, is injured on the first play in the first game, she starts the new athletic trainer's son, freshman Cooper Isles, over her senior brother, Tommy Rizzoli.

Maura Isles was the athletic trainer for Albany (New York) High School. Her now ex-fiancee left her and Cooper for another woman. She moves Cooper to Boston and places him in the best program in the state of Massachusetts.

When Coach Rizzoli and Doctor Isles meet, will they fall in love or will Cooper fall between them?
