Alex West is a hero, he just doesn't know it yet.

When Alex gets attacked by a creature on the hill near his house, the world as he knows it is changed forever. As he wakes up in the kingdom of Novalon, Alex soon discovers that they have been waiting for him for centuries, with the supposed power to end the ongoing war forever.
