Description
Uno, in a midst of a gang war with his rival Kimberly Journey, seeks to obtain the supernatural artifact she had stolen from him. In anticipation of reacquiring the relic, he knows he must also have the magical incantation that will activate the power of the artifacts, which is known only to one man. Unfortunately, the man died two thousand years ago. The use of mediums to contact the spirit of the man had proven fruitless. The only way he can get the answer he seeks is to send someone into the Underworld. Because vampires are already dead, entering the afterlife would automatically trapped their souls on the spiritual plain. Uno, still pissed about his last business transaction with Taurus Moon, decides to make the relic hunter his patsy. Uno also knows that Moon is possibly the only person alive who could search all of the Underworld to find the man with the incantation. As an incentive for Moon to risk his life, Uno agrees to negotiate for his life with the Lycan council-a contract had been placed on both Moon and Gully's life for what happened to Grimes (Taurus Moon: Magic & Mayhem). Moon, Gully, Ayira, and John team up again to travel to the afterlife. They encounter Kalunga-ngombe the king of the Underworld and a few of their old villains they'd dispatched in the past. Sekhmet, a Thaloc, causes trouble for the group the entire time making an already treacherous adventure even worse.
