For centuries all the supernatural creatures lived in peace. But though equality was sweet, the dragons wanted more. The hunger for dominance clawed through their insides and they raged through countries to feed it. Since the demons were the only thing strong enough to face them, they created a terrible war that lasted thousands of years, Until they came to an agreement. Each dragon prince of every century was to receive a demon bride to mix their blood lines to make the dragons more powerful and at the top of the food chain. In return for this the demons were to forever be protected and all the supernatural creatures were to be left unharmed. Though the war ended the dragons still grew fear in the hearts of everyone and were now even more unstoppable. The ancestors saw what had become of their people and frowned upon it. They sought to save them but in order to do that, they had to twist fate... Her fate. Btw guys the book doesn't actually have that many chapters, they're just cut up in pieces.
