Prologue

Their destiny was set in stone.

It would have ended either way. They were never going to cross paths again.

Or, so they thought.

When that dreadful event arrives six years after their violent parting, the pair of ex best friends are anything but ready to be thrown into each other's lives once more.

They were never meant to be friends. From the beginning, they were always destined to be enemies.

That theory is tested greatly, though, when they are quite literally pulled into the lives of one another and forced to walk in each other's shoes.
