The Titans never managed to rescue Robin and Slade escaped with him. With the help of Bruce, the Titans tried to save him again but this time, they discovered a Robin who they didn't have the intentions to retrieve. Instead, Robin was hijacked and now fully committed to work with Slade. "I shouldn't be sorry for becoming a monster.", Robin smiled. Only it was not friendly and him; not the Robin they knew. "Why should I anyways? No one has ever been sorry to mold me into this. Not the man who killed my parents.
