She never wanted to be a part of this.

This mess.

Nonetheless, she can't bring back the time that had passed by and faded away. Neither can she return to the peaceful, impeccable moments of our childhood. They were beautiful, indeed-but now nothing more than fragments of memories.

They were evanescent.

So, too, is her gentleness.

The sweetness of her smile and the glimmer in her eyes were of pure innocence. Despair marked the end of it.
