After the Smile Cures defeated the Mighty Peirrot, things have changed ever since.
Most days have been peaceful and full of joy! But Reika hasn't been herself lately. Her friends noticed that she has been still and faint lately.

Even Miyuki, the brightest of the group, tried cheering her up. But nothing. Came out..

As Miyuki, Akane, Yayoi and Nao walked out of their second lesson, they saw Candy running up to them - followed by a trio of boys.
That wasn't the issue though, Candy had told them that she left Reika alone to think about her situation. But, when she waa going to check on her...
