Brynn Townshend is an amazing baseball player. But when she moves into San Fernando Valley, California, she learns about her neighborhood field, The Sandlot, and about the neighborhood legend next door, Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez. She shows up at the Sandlot one day and all the boys doubt her. Until they see her play. Then Benny slowly develops a friendship with her when he wants to become more than friends.
